- 2/3 c. softened margarine
- 2/3 c. sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 3/4 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1 1/2 c. oatmeal
- 1/2 c. wheat germ
- 6 bacon strips (crisp), crumbled
Directions

1Mix softened margarine, sugar, egg and vanilla.

2Add flour, baking soda and salt.

3Mix in Cheddar cheese, oatmeal and wheat germ.

4Add bacon strips.

5Spoon onto ungreased (no-stick) cookie sheet by the tablespoonful.

6Bake at 350° for 12 to 14 minutes. Cool.

7Makes 2 dozen cookies.
