- 1/3 c. butter, softened
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 c. butter, melted
- 1/2 c. sugar
Directions

1In mixing bowl, cream 1/3 cup butter with 1/2 cup sugar; beat in egg.

2Sift flour, baking powder, salt and nutmeg together.

3Add dry ingredients alternately with milk, beginning and ending with dry ingredients into butter and sugar mixture.

4Fill greased muffin cups 3/4 full of batter.

5Bake in preheated 350° oven for 20 to 25 minutes, until golden.

6In small bowl, mix 1/2 cup sugar and cinnamon.

7Immediately after baking, roll donuts in melted butter and then in sugar/cinnamon mixture.
