Breakfast Egg Casserole

Ingredients

  • 10 slices bread, crust removed
  • 1/2 lb. Velveeta cheese
  • 1/4 lb. butter
  • 8 eggs
  • 2 c. milk

Directions

    Remove crust and place in 10 x 13-inch Pyrex pan.

    Melt butter and cheese and pour over bread.

    Beat eggs and milk.

    Pour over cheese mixture and bread.

    Let stand, covered with foil, overnight. Bake at 300° in hot oven for 45 minutes to 1 hour.

    Done when puffy and slightly brown.

    Optional to add ham, mushrooms, onions and green pepper over entire mixture before baking.
