- 1 lb. sausage or bacon
- 7 to 8 slices Pepperidge Farm bread, crusts removed
- 1 block Cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 c. milk
- 1 c. regular cream
- 8 eggs
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2Brown meat; drain.

3Butter both sides of bread; use to line a 10 x 15-inch baking dish.

4Top with cheese.

5Beat eggs; add milk and cream.

6Mix well; pour over bread and cheese.

7Sprinkle with 3/4 teaspoon salt and a little pepper. Top with meat.

8Thyme or parsley may be sprinkled over top.

9Bake at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes.
