Ingredients

  • 1 lb. mild sausage, cooked and drained
  • 1/2 c. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
  • 8 slices white bread
  • 5 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 c. Swiss cheese, grated
  • 1 1/4 c. milk
  • 3/4 c. half and half
  • 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1 tsp. salt

    Grease 13 x 9-inch pan.

    Lay bread close together.

    Place sausage on top, then Cheddar and Swiss cheese.

    Beat eggs; add milk, half and half, Worcestershire sauce, mustard and salt.

    Pour over bread and sausage.

    Refrigerate overnight or 6 to 8 hours. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
