- 3 tsp. baking powder
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1 egg
- 1 c. milk
- 1/4 c. melted shortening
Directions

1In mixing bowl, sift together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Add egg, milk and melted shortening. Mix well.

2Spoon into greased muffin pans. Bake at 425° for 20 minutes. Makes 1 dozen muffins.
