- 1/2 c.sugar
- 1/3 c. butter, softened
- 1 egg
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/2 c. milk
Directions

1Cream sugar, butter and egg.

2Sift flour, baking powder, salt and nutmeg.

3Add to creamed mixture alternately with milk.

4Beat well.

5Grease 12 muffin cups; 2/3 full.

6Bake at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown.

7Mix 1/2 cup sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon.

8Let muffins cool a few minutes.

9Melt 3 tablespoons butter.

10Roll tops of muffins in melted butter then roll tops in sugar mixture.
