- 1 (2 lb.) pkg. frozen hash browns, thawed
- 2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. onion, chopped fine
- 2 c. sour cream
- 1 can cream of chicken or mushroom soup
- 1/2 c. melted butter
Directions

1Mix potatoes, salt, cheese and onion in 9 x 13-inch pan.

2Mix sour cream, soup and melted butter and spread on top.

3Then top with 1/4 cup melted butter and 2 cups cornflakes, crushed, sprinkled over all.

4Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
