- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 12 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1 cup sugar
- 23 cup shortening
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 12 lb butter
- 1 12 cups sugar
- 3 teaspoons ground cinnamon
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350F.

2Grease or line with paper 12 muffin cups.

3In large bowl, mix flour, baking powder, salt, and nutmeg, set aside.

4In separate large bowl, cream together sugar and shortening.

5Add eggs to creamed mixture and mix again.

6Alternate adding 1/3 of flour mixture and 1/3 of milk to creamed mixture, beating well after each addition.

7Fill muffin cups 2/3 full.

8Bake 20-25 min, until golden.

9Remove from pan and set aside.

11Melt butter.

12Combine cinnamon and sugar.

13Dip warm muffins in butter, coating well.
