Breakfast Pull-Apart Coffee Cake

  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 2 to 3 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1 loaf (1 lb.) frozen bread dough, thawed
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • margarine, melted
  • 2 tbsp. butter
  • margarine, melted

Directions

    Sprinkle pecans evenly in bottom of a lightly greased 9-inch pie plate.

    Set aside.

    Combine sugar and cinnamon, and set aside.

    Cut bread into quarters, and cut each quarter into 6 pieces.

    Dip each dough piece into butter; coat in sugar mixture.

    Arrange dough pieces over pecans.

    Cover, and let rise in a warm place (85F), free from drafts, for 1 hour.

    Bake at 350F for 30 minutes or until done.

    Immediately invert on a serving plate.
