  • 3 slices white bread (cubed)
  • 1 lb. sausage; browned and drained
  • 1 c. grated sharp cheddar cheese
  • 8 eggs
  • 2 c. milk
  • 1/2 c. diced onion
  • 1/2 c. diced jalapeno
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard
  • 2 Tbsp. parsley
  • dash of garlic powder and salt
  • salsa

Directions

    Place bread in the bottom of a 13x9 inch lightly greased baking dish.

    Layer sausage, then cheese.

    Set aside.

    Mix remaining ingredients.

    Pour over bread and sausage mixture. Refrigerate overnight.

    Bake at 350° uncovered for 45 minutes. Serve with salsa.
