  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 cup Rinsed Quinoa
  • 1 dash Salt
  • 1 stick Cinnamon
  • Fresh Berries, To Serve
  • Sugar, To Taste

Directions

    In a medium saucepan or rice cooker, combine water, milk, rinsed quinoa, dash of salt and cinnamon stick.

    Bring to a light boil then cover and lower heat to medium low (low simmer) and cook for about 35 minutes.

    Swirl (if using a saucepan) to ensure the quinoa doesnt get stuck to the sides of the pot.

    Top with extra milk, cream, or half-and-half, fresh berries, and the sweetener of your choice.
