- softened butter
- 8 slices bread
- 1 lb. bulk pork sausage, cooked, crumbled and drained
- 1 c. 4 oz. shredded Cheddar cheese
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 2 c. milk
- 1 1/2 tsp. prepared mustard
Directions

1Spread butter on bread slices; place 4 slices, buttered side down, in a single layer in a greased shallow baking pan.

2Top each bread slice with sausage and remaining bread slices, buttered side up.

3Sprinkle with cheese and combine remaining ingredients.

4Pour over sandwiches.

5Cover and refrigerate overnight.
