Ingredients
- 12 slices bread
- 1 lb. ham, diced, or 1 lb. bacon, fried and crumbled
- 1 lb. grated Cheddar cheese
- 1 doz. eggs
- 1/2 tsp. mustard
- 3 c. milk
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- dash of pepper
- 2 c. crushed corn flakes
- 1/2 c. melted butter
Directions

1Place bread on bottom of a 9 x 13-inch pan.

2Cover with ham or bacon, then cheese.

3Set aside.

4Combine eggs, mustard, milk, salt and pepper; beat well.

5Pour over ingredients in pan.

6Cover and refrigerate overnight.

7Before baking, mix crushed corn flakes and melted butter; sprinkle over top of souffle.

8Bake 45 to 60 minutes at 350°.
