  • 4 lb. beef brisket
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1/2 c. ketchup
  • 1/2 c. chili sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 6 cloves garlic
  • 1 (12 oz.) can beer

Directions

    Season meat with salt and pepper. Place in 13 x 9-inch pan. Cover with onion. Combine ketchup, chili sauce, sugar, garlic and beer. Pour over meat. Bake at 300° for 4 hours. Cool slightly. Cut across grain. Cover with gravy from pan.
