- 1 Tbsp. liquid smoke
- 1 tsp. garlic salt
- 1 tsp. onion salt
- 2 tsp. celery seed
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 3 to 4 lb. well trimmed beef brisket
- 3 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. catsup
- 1 tsp. mustard
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 3 drops Tabasco sauce
- dash of nutmeg
- 1 Tbsp. soy sauce
Directions

1Combine all ingredients (except brisket) and pour over brisket.

2Marinate for several hours (overnight).

3Cover lightly with foil and bake at 300° for 3 to 3 1/2 hours.

4Pour barbecue sauce over brisket; replace foil and bake another hour.
