- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 sticks margarine, softened
- 1 egg, well beaten
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Cream sugar and oleo.

2Add egg and vanilla and mix well.

3Sift flour and baking powder together; add to sugar mixture.

4Using 2 teaspoons, make cookie into nut size balls.

5Roll each in a dish of oatmeal so it can be handled.

6Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten with glass dipped in oatmeal.

7Replenish oatmeal as needed.

8Bake at 325° for 15 minutes.
