- 1/4 c. slivered almonds
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 c. water
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 lb. broccoli, cut stalks in quarters
Directions

1In a large skillet over low heat, saute almonds in butter until lightly brown, stirring constantly. Remove and set aside in another dish.

2In the same skillet, bring water and salt to a boil. Add broccoli.

3Cover and cook until crisp-tender.

4Drain well and put in a heated serving dish.

5Return almond butter mixture to skillet to heat.

6Pour over broccoli.
