Broccoli Bake

  • 1/4 c. finely chopped onion
  • 6 Tbsp. margarine
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 8 oz. shredded Velveeta cheese
  • 2 pkg. chopped broccoli, thawed and drained well
  • 3 well beaten eggs
  • 1/2 c. bread crumbs

    Saute onions in 4 tablespoons margarine until soft.

    Stir in flour.

    Add water and cook over low heat.

    Stir until thickens and boils.
  5. 5
    Blend in cheese and combine sauce in broccoli.

    Add eggs and mix gently until blended.

    Cover with bread crumbs and dot with remaining margarine.

    Bake in an 8 or 9-inch square pan at 325° for 30 minutes.
