Broccoli Casserole

  • 2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped broccoli
  • small pkg. Velveeta cheese
  • 1 can celery soup
  • 1 Tbsp. milk
  • 1 stick butter
  • Ritz crackers (20 or 30)
  • garlic salt to taste
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 small onion, chopped

Directions

    Boil broccoli and chopped onion in salted water until tender, about 8 to 10 minutes; drain.

    Add celery soup, 1/2 stick butter, Velveeta cheese (cut up in little chunks), milk, salt, pepper and garlic salt to taste.

    Stir well.

    Put in buttered casserole dish and top with crushed crackers that have been sauteed in 1/2 stick butter.

    Bake in 350° oven until hot and bubbly.
