- 2 (10 oz. each) pkg. frozen broccoli spears
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
- 1 pkg. frozen pearl onions (optional)
- 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
- salt and pepper
- 1/3 c. milk
- 4 Tbsp. margarine
- 1/2 c. bread crumbs (Progresso works well)
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2Cook broccoli according to package directions; drain.

3In a small saucepan, combine cream cheese and 2 tablespoon of margarine and stir over medium heat until thick and smooth.

4Stir in milk until thick and bubbly. Add 1 teaspoon of salt and a dash of pepper.

5Fold in pearl onions, if you wish. Place broccoli in an 8 x 8-inch baking dish and pour cream cheese sauce evenly over the broccoli.
