- 1 (16 oz.) loaf frozen bread dough, thawed
- 1 (10 oz.) pkg. thawed and drained, frozen, chopped broccoli
- 1 c. (4 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1 egg, beaten
- 2 Tbsp. instant minced onion
- 1 tsp. onion salt
- 2 Tbsp. butter, melted
Directions

1Roll dough into a 12-inch square on a lightly floured surface. Combine broccoli and next 4 ingredients; stir well.

2Spread mixture evenly over dough, leaving a 1/2-inch border.

3Starting on one side, roll dough tightly jelly roll fashion.

4Moisten seam edge of dough with water.

5Press securely to seal, turning seam side down.

6Cut roll into 8 slices.

7Cut each slice almost in half again, cutting to within 1/2 inch of bottom.

8Gently open out halves, invert and place on a lightly greased baking sheet. Brush with melted butter.

9Cover and let rise in a warm place free from drafts for 45 minutes or until doubled in bulk.

10Bake at 375° for 18 to 20 minutes until golden brown.
