Broccoli Dip

  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1/2 c. chopped celery
  • 1/2 c. chopped mushrooms
  • 3 Tbsp. butter
  • juice of 1/4 lemon
  • 1 pkg. frozen chopped broccoli
  • 1 can mushroom soup
  • 1 (6 oz.) pkg. garlic cheese

Directions

    Cook and drain broccoli.

    Saute onion, celery and mushrooms in butter.
  3. 3
    Add soup, cheese, lemon juice and broccoli.

    Salt and pepper to taste.

    Serve as hot dip in a chafing dish.

    Also may be poured over 2 or 3 cups instant uncooked rice and bake as a casserole.
