- 1 lb. broccoli
- 2 garlic cloves, sliced thin
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1/4 tsp. salt
Directions

1Remove and discard outer leaves and cut off tough ends of stalks from broccoli.

2Split lengthwise heavy stalks over 1/2 inch thick.

3Boil 2 inches of water in saucepan and add broccoli.

4Cover pan, allowing water to form steam.

5Cook 10 to 20 minutes or until broccoli is tender.

6Do not overcook.
