Broccoli Ham Ring

Ingredients

  • 1/4 lb. ham
  • 1/4 lb. fresh broccoli
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 sweet banana pepper (optional)
  • 1/2 c. fresh parsley or 2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
  • 6 oz. Swiss cheese
  • 2 Tbsp. Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp. lemon juice
  • 2 (8 oz. each) cans refrigerated crescent rolls

Directions

    Preheat oven to 350°.

    Coarsely chop ham, broccoli, onion and parsley with food chopper.

    Coarsely grate cheese (1 1/2 cups). Mix all ingredients except crescent rolls and set aside.

    On a 13-inch baking stone, arrange crescent triangles in a circle with bases overlapping in center and points to the outside.

    There should be a circle of about 3 inches in diameter in the center. Spoon filling over bases evenly.

    Fold points of triangles over filling and tuck under bases at the center.

    Filling will not be completely covered.

    Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown.
