- 2 bunches broccoli
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1 Tbsp. chopped garlic
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 lb. pasta (rotini, penne or other kinds)
- 1/4 tsp. red pepper
- 1/2 c. defatted chicken broth
Directions

1Cut broccoli into flowerets.

2Peel and slice stems.

3Cook pasta.

4When pasta has about 13 minutes left to cook, heat olive oil and add garlic and red pepper.

5Stir one minute.

6Add broccoli.

7Mix well.

8Add salt and 1/2 cup water or defatted broth.

9Use less salt if using canned all chicken broth.

10Cover with a tight lid.

11Cook 8 minutes, stirring occasionally.

12Drain pasta and mix with broccoli and its liquid.

13Serve at once.
