Broccoli Rice Casserole

Ingredients

  • 2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped broccoli
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp. melted butter or margarine
  • 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of chicken soup, undiluted
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. process American cheese spread, cubed
  • 3 c. cooked rice

Directions

    Cook broccoli according to package direction; drain well and set aside.

    Saute onions in butter until tender.

    Add soup, milk and cheese.

    Cook over medium heat stirring constantly until cheese is melted.

    Stir in rice and broccoli.

    Pour into a greased 2-quart shallow casserole.

    Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
