Broccoli Rice Whiz

Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 c. rice (uncooked)
  • 3/4 c. chopped onion
  • 3/4 c. chopped bell pepper
  • 3/4 c. chopped celery
  • 1/2 stick margarine
  • 1 (8 oz.) hot Mexican Cheez Whiz
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 (16 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped broccoli

Directions

    Cook rice in a large saucepan and drain.

    Saute onion, bell pepper and celery in margarine.
  3. 3
    Add onion, bell pepper and celery to the rice while still hot.

    Fold in Cheez Whiz, chicken soup and milk.

    Heat on low burner just until cheese and soup are well blended.

    Fold in chopped broccoli.

    Pour into a greased casserole and bake 30 to 35 minutes at 350°.
