Broccoli Salad

  • 1 large head broccoli (about 1 1/2 lb.)
  • 10 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 5 green onions, sliced
  • 1/2 c. raisins
  • 1 can water chestnuts, chopped
  • 1 c. mayonnaise
  • 2 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 1 1/4 c. sugar

Directions

    Wash and trim broccoli.

    Cut into bite-size pieces.

    Place in large bowl.

    Add bacon, green onions, raisins and water chestnuts. In a small bowl, combine the mayonnaise, vinegar and sugar.

    Add dressing to broccoli mixture and toss gently.

    Cover and refrigerate 2 to 3 hours before serving.

    Serves 6 to 10 people.
