Broccoli Soup

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. oleo
  • 2 small onions, diced
  • 2 qt. cold water
  • 1 pt. milk or half and half
  • 6 bouillon cubes (chicken)
  • 1 lb. Velveeta cheese
  • 4 lb. chopped broccoli
  • cornstarch as desired

Directions

    Saute onions in oleo until tender; add water, broccoli, cubes and milk.

    Simmer for 1 hour.

    Add cheese and cook for a few minutes.

    Bring to a boil and thicken with cornstarch mixed in water.
