Broccoli Soup

  • 3/4 c. chopped onion
  • 2 Tbsp. oil
  • 6 c. water
  • 6 chicken bouillon cubes
  • 8 oz. very fine cut egg noodles
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
  • 2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped broccoli
  • 6 c. milk
  • 1 c. shredded cheese
  • pepper to taste

Directions

    Saute onion in oil.

    Add water and bouillon cubes and bring to a boil.

    Add noodles and bring back to a boil, then add garlic powder and broccoli.

    Cook about 5 minutes and add milk, shredded cheese and pepper.

    Cook and stir occasionally until cheese melts.
