Broccoli Soup

Ingredients

  • 3 c. diced potatoes
  • 1 c. chopped onions
  • 1 c. chopped celery
  • 2 or 3 stalks broccoli, chopped
  • 1 large can Carnation milk
  • 2 chicken bouillon cubes
  • 1 stick oleo
  • 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1 c. grated Colby cheese
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

    Cover potatoes, onions and celery with water and boil together until tender.

    Add broccoli, then add Carnation milk, bouillon cubes, oleo, cornstarch, salt and pepper to taste.

    Cook and add Colby cheese when soup is done.

    Serve with corn bread muffins or crackers.
