Ingredients

  • 1 lb. fresh broccoli
  • 1 Tbsp. instant onion flakes
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. white pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 Tbsp. sweet basil (optional)
  • 1 1/3 c. water
  • 1 chicken flavor bouillon cube
  • 1 (13 oz.) can Milnot

Directions

    Wash and cut broccoli into small pieces.

    Place in medium saucepan; add next seven ingredients.

    Cover and bring to a boil; simmer until tender.

    Remove some flowerets and set aside for garnish.
  5. 5
    Puree or blend remaining broccoli.

    Return to heat and stir in Milnot.

    Heat to serving temperature.

    This recipe can also be used with asparagus, mushrooms or zucchini.
