- 1 c. raw rice
- 1 c. chopped onion
- 1 stick margarine
- 2 cans beef consomme
- 1 can mushrooms, stems, pieces and liquid
Directions

1Put margarine, rice and onions in frying pan.

2Cook until rice is light brown, stirring frequently.

3Put mixture in baking dish; add consomme, mushrooms and a little pepper.

4Cook in a 400° oven about 30 minutes or until liquid is absorbed and rice is tender.
