Brown Sugar Bread Pudding

  • 2 c. soft 1 1/2-inch bread cubes
  • 1 1/2 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1/2 c. seedless raisins, washed
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. chopped nuts
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 Tbsp. butter

Directions

    Combine soft bread cubes, brown sugar, salt, cinnamon, vanilla, milk, raisins and nuts.

    Add slightly beaten eggs.

    Pour into a greased 1-quart casserole.

    Dot with butter over top.

    Bake in a slow oven at 350° for 1 hour.
