  • 1 box light brown sugar
  • 1 c. white sugar
  • 3 c. sifted cake flour
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 5 eggs, beaten slightly
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 c. Crisco
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. pecans, chopped

Directions

    Cream sugars, margarine and Crisco.

    Add eggs.

    Then add rest of ingredients (alternate with milk).

    Add nuts last.

    Bake at 325° about 1 hour and 20 minutes in a greased and floured pan.
