- 1 13 cups sugar
- 1 14 teaspoons baking powder

- 14 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup milk
- 3 tablespoons shortening
- 1 egg
- 12 teaspoon vanilla
- 3 ounces melted unsweetened chocolate (cool)
- 23 cup finely chopped nuts
