- 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 3 Tbsp. unsweetened cocoa powder
- 3/4 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 c. milk
- 1 Tbsp. cooking oil
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1/4 c. chopped walnuts
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 3/4 c. boiling water
Directions

1Stir together flour, 1/4 cup sugar, 1 tablespoon cocoa powder and baking powder.

2Add milk, oil and vanilla. Stir until smooth. Stir in nuts. Transfer batter to a 1-quart casserole. Combine the 1/3 cup sugar and remaining cocoa powder. Gradually stir in boiling water.

3Pour evenly over batter.

4Bake in a 350° oven about 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the cake comes out clean. Serve warm.
