  • 2 sticks butter
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 1/4 c. sifted cake flour
  • 3 1/2 sq. unsweetened chocolate
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 3 eggs
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Beat butter in large mixer bowl until light and fluffy.

    Add sugar; continue to beat.

    Add eggs one at a time.

    Alternately add flour with salt and milk, then chocolate and vanilla.

    Pour in greased and floured 13 x 9-inch pan.

    Bake at 350° for 45 minutes. Do not open oven door while baking.

    May add nuts and sprinkle with chocolate chips.
