  • 4 sq. chocolate
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 lb. butter
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. flour
  • 2 c. whole walnuts or sliced pecans

Directions

    Melt the chocolate and butter slowly; cool.

    Beat eggs well and add sugar gradually.

    Continue to beat and put in chocolate. Fold vanilla, flour, salt and nuts.

    Bake at 350° in 9 x 13-inch pan for about 30 minutes.

    Test for doneness with toothpick.

    Cut after brownies have been out of oven for about 30 minutes.
