- 3/4 c. butter
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 c. nuts (optional)
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. cocoa
- 4 eggs
- 1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips, divided
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2In a 2 1/2 to 3-quart saucepan over low heat, melt butter.

3Remove from heat and add sugar, flour, cocoa, baking powder, salt, eggs and vanilla.

4Stir with spoon until batter is well blended and smooth.

5Stir in 1/2 cup chocolate chips and nuts.

6Spread in a 13 x 9-inch baking pan.

7Sprinkle with remaining chocolate chips.

8Bake 30 to 35 minutes until set. Cool on wire rack.
