- 3/4 c. cocoa
- 1 1/2 sticks plus 3 Tbsp. margarine
- 1 c. chopped walnuts or pecans
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 3/4 c. flour
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1In a large mixing bowl, cream cocoa, sugar and margarine.

2Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.

3Add flour, nuts and vanilla.

4Spread into a 13 x 9-inch baking pan.

5Bake at 350° for 27 minutes.

6Test for doneness with a toothpick inserted in center or they are done when sides turn in.

7Frost when cool if desired.

8Cut into squares.
