- 2 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 c. flour (self-rising)
- 2 to 3 Tbsp. cocoa
- 2 sticks margarine or butter, melted
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. nuts
- pinch of salt
Directions

1Combine all dry ingredients and mix well.

2Add melted butter and stir in eggs and vanilla.

3Stir only enough to blend ingredients well.

4(Do not use mixer.)

5Add nuts, if desired, and bake in well-greased and floured, glass baking dish at 350° for approximately 30 minutes.

6Do not overcook.
