- 4 eggs
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 c. butter (margarine)
- 4 sq. baking chocolate
- 1 c. nuts, chopped
- scant 1 c. sifted cake flour
Directions

1Melt chocolate and butter together over low heat.

2Separate eggs; set aside whites and beat egg yolks well.

3Add sugar slowly to eggs, then add to chocolate mixture which has cooled slightly. Add nuts and flour.

4Beat egg whites to a stiff froth and add last. Bake in greased and floured 9 x 13-inch cake pan at 335° for 40 minutes.

5Do not overbake!

6These are moist and chewy brownies; freeze beautifully.
