- 1/4 lb. butter
- 2 or 3 sq. unsweetened chocolate
- 2 eggs
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 c. flour
- 1 c. nuts, chopped
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Melt butter and chocolate over low flame.

2Pour over sugar and mix.

3Add eggs and flour which has been sifted, vanilla and chopped nuts.

4Put in greased pan (about 7 x 10-inch); bake very slowly for about 30 minutes in oven at 350°.

5Cut into squares when taken from oven.

6Let cool before removing from pan.

7Yields about 30.
