  • 4 sq. baking chocolate
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 1/2 c. sifted flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. nut meats
  • 1 stick oleo
  • 4 sq. chocolate
  • 1 small can evaporated milk
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 box xxxx powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Melt in top of double boiler 2 sticks of oleo and 4 squares baking chocolate.

    In mixing bowl, beat eggs.

    Add sugar gradually. Add flour and baking powder.

    Add chocolate mixture.

    Do not wash boiler.

    Add 2 teaspoons vanilla and nut meats.

    Spread in large pan.

    Bake at 300° for 1/2 hour (will pull away from edge slightly).
