- 1 lb. sausage, cooked (but not dry)
- 1/2 lb. grated sharp cheese
- 8 slices white bread, crusts trimmed
- 3 to 4 eggs, depending on size
- 2 c. milk
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. dry mustard
- dash of pepper
Directions

1Use a greased 9 x 13-inch Pyrex dish.

2Place bread as a liner in bottom of dish, then cheese, then sausage.

3Sprinkle these evenly over the bread.

4Mix together eggs, milk, salt, mustard and pepper.

5Pour mixture over the bread, sausage and cheese.

6Chill overnight.

7Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes.
