Brunch Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. bacon or 1/2 lb. bacon and 1/2 lb. sausage
  • 6 eggs, beaten
  • 1 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. salt and pepper
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard
  • 6 slices white bread, cut in cubes (no crust)
  • 1 1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese

Directions

    Cook bacon and/or sausage.

    Cut into pieces. Toss bread and cheese by hand and put in casserole dish.

    Mix eggs, milk, salt, pepper and mustard.

    Pour over the bread and cheese. Add pieces of bacon and/or sausage.

    Mix. Set in refrigerator overnight. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes, uncovered.
