Ingredients
- 1 lb. pork sausage (sage)
- 6 slices white bread, crusts removed
- 1 1/2 c. shredded Longhorn cheese
- 5 or 6 eggs
- 2 c. milk or half and half cream
- 1 tsp. dry mustard
- 1 tsp. salt
Directions

1Cook crumbled sausage until done.

2Spread each slice of bread with oleo and cut into cubes.

3Place cubes in bottom of 9 x 13-inch pan and sprinkle with cooked sausage.

4Top with cheese.

5Combine milk, eggs, salt and mustard; beat and mix thoroughly.

6Pour over top of cheese.

7Refrigerate until ready to use, set pan out and bring to room temperature.

8Bake uncovered at 350° for 30 minutes.
