Brunch Egg Casserole

- 10 slices white bread
- 1/2 lb. grated mild Cheddar cheese
- 1 lb. bacon, cooked and broken in small pieces
- 6 eggs
- 3 c. milk
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Directions

1Grease 9 x 13-inch pan.

2Trim crust off bread and butter bread generously; cut into 1-inch cubes.

3Mix bread cubes and cheese in baking dish.

4Put bacon over cheese and bread.

5Add eggs, beaten with milk and salt; pour over top of bread mixture.

6Refrigerate overnight.

7Bake (at least) 50 minutes at 350°.

8You may add parsley or mushrooms before baking.

9Sausage may be substituted for bacon.

10When you bake, it will rise up, fill the pan and be very fluffy.
